Inside the Showrooms: A Look Back at our Recent Events

The first few months of the year have built a real buzz, as events across our UK kitchen showrooms set the tone for a vibrant and inspiring start to 2026.

From hands-on workshops to relaxed open weekends, Q1 showed just how powerful these moments of connection can be.

More than display spaces, our showrooms came to life as welcoming places to gather, learn and share ideas, proving that great design conversations start in an atmosphere that feels comfortable, creative and welcoming at every step.

Harrogate x BORA – 24th January

To kick off the year, our Harrogate showroom hosted a showcase event of live cooking demonstrations in collaboration with our long-term partners, BORA.

Chef Jack Williams joined us to create an elevated menu, demonstrated using the new matt-finish BORA X-Pure hob, which was installed in our Harrogate showroom.

Attendees not only got a chance to try a fantastic menu – garlic, chilli & lemon king prawns, truffle and spinach gnocchi, and chimichurri steak – but also to explore the Harrogate showroom in the way it’s meant to be featured.

The sounds, scents, and atmosphere of learning, sharing, and socialising is where a bespoke kitchen comes into its own, and we’re so delighted that we can bring the feeling of home to life through our showroom events.

Cambridge x Miele – 28th February

Our February event with Miele was a chance to showcase the craftsmanship of Tom Howley and our trusted partners.

Chef Amy Knight’s incredible menu of caramelised leek and gruyere tarts, Thai-inspired salmon and broccoli bake, and hazelnut chocolate meringues with berries and Chantilly cream served as the backdrop for an afternoon of education, engagement, and expert insights from both the showroom team and our friends at Miele.

Open Weekends – 16th-18th January & 13th-15th March

Our open weekends run nationwide on a regular basis, with our showroom doors open to all up and down the country.

These events are a relaxed, informal opportunity for visitors to have a local Tom Howley showroom experience without any pressure. We know it can feel like you have to get all your ducks in a row before speaking to one of our designers, but our open weekends are a chance to prove that’s not the case! Clients can bring their floorplans along, or our team are around to offer advice wherever you are in your kitchen project.

With refreshments and snacks on hand, as well as the endless knowledge and experience of our team, we met with both new and existing clients at our open weekends, building new relationships and sharing ideas to bring your dream kitchens to life.

Tunbridge Wells Interior Design Festival – 12th-14th March

Our Tunbridge Wells team were thrilled to take part in Tunbridge Wells’ first ever Interior Design Festival in March.

Over the course of the weekend, Tunbridge Wells town centre was alive with craftsmanship, creativity, and excitement, with top interiors brands in the local business community taking part to offer exciting events, workshops, and exclusive offers along the way. At Tom Howley Tunbridge Wells, footfall was nearly nine times higher than the same weekend last year!

We’re incredibly proud of Victoria, our Tunbridge Wells showroom manager, who pitched this event to the local Business Improvement District (BID), championing the local business community for a fantastic weekend of collaboration and creativity.

Chelsea Design Festival – 12th-15th March

The Chelsea TRI Design Festival was a celebration of creativity, craftsmanship and interiors in the heart of Chelsea.

Over the course of the weekend, the Tom Howley Chelsea team worked with Bex Partridge at Botanical Tales on a relaxed, hands-on dried flower workshop where visitors created their own beautiful floral wreaths to take home.

We also ran an interior design workshop with Ria from Juliette Byrne, Tom Howley, and our local designer Lizzie, where the experts shared practical guidance and professional tips on how to approach your home like a designer, from planning layouts and creating cohesion, to budgeting wisely and avoiding costly mistakes.

Working with other businesses in the Chelsea interiors community, the festival was a fantastic opportunity to explore inspiring spaces, discover local design talent, and highlight the incredible design expertise of our team.

Beaconsfield x Miele – Trade Showcase Chef’s Table – 19th March

An exclusive, intimate gathering at our Beaconsfield site, this luxury kitchen showroom event in collaboration with Miele was a chance for us to strengthen our network of expert trade partners, from builders and developers to architects and interior designers.

Chef Amy Knight joined us again to create an incredible chef’s table experience creating an atmosphere to build valuable connections with our key contacts and brilliant partners.

As we look back on a busy and inspiring start to the year, the energy across our showrooms has been impossible to miss.

Q1 reinforced what our spaces are all about: welcoming destinations where creativity, conversation and community thrive.

With spring and summer ahead, there’s plenty more to look forward to, from open weekends to hands-on workshops and events. Keep an eye out for our next open weekend in June, and any other events in your local area on our website and social media – or, book a design consultation and visit your local showroom.
