Derived from authentic shaker style, our Hartford kitchen collection radiates timeless charm and universal appeal. It pays homage to the principles of scale, symmetry, and simplicity and emphasises a sense of home life through solid and comfortable furniture crafted to bring people together. This classic collection was ideal for a project of this nature, creating an inviting and communal space for all to enjoy.
In crisp Sorrel white with Azurite blue shelves, our Hartford media wall spans the back of this exquisite multifunctional space. Merging luxury and functionality, it seamlessly integrates a TV, closed storage for dinnerware, and open shelving to display glasses and stylish decor. Fashioning the ultimate hub for entertainment and relaxation, we designed a substantial, bespoke island at the room’s core, featuring a comfortable curved bench anchored into the island itself. This striking seating area wraps around a beautiful, circular bespoke table that generously accommodates the entire family.
The island incorporates glazed cabinets facing the bespoke bar, an ideal storage spot for dinnerware and cocktail essentials. A Caesarstone Mont Blanc worktop is the perfect surface for preparing drinks after dark. Polished chrome and matte black handles emphasise modern elegance, while smoked oak details and light worktops subtly contrast the Azurite blue, resulting in a sophisticated, eye-catching design.
Designing bespoke bar areas involves seamlessly integrating them into awkward alcoves, incorporating them into kitchen cabinets, or strategically placing them in dining areas, providing the perfect backdrop for social gatherings. While the central island immediately captures attention upon entering this space, the adjacent bar area is equally impressive, featuring an earthy blue Azurite paint colour, flawless surfaces, a handy Quooker tap and state-of-the-art Liebherr appliances.

Beyond their striking exteriors, our bespoke bar areas prioritise intelligent storage, significantly impacting entertaining. While busy in the kitchen, your guests can effortlessly help themselves to glasses, bar snacks, and their favourite drinks. Within this run of cabinetry, pull-out drawers with bespoke bottle storage and cutlery inserts create the ideal space for organisation. Tall cabinets on each side offer adjustable shelving to discreetly store tea, coffee essentials, and family-favourite treats. Glazed cabinets not only offer ample storage for glassware but also serve as a captivating feature, enhanced by integrated LED lighting that sets the mood, whatever the time of day.
When crafting a kitchen tailored for entertaining, it’s crucial to ensure that it aligns seamlessly with your lifestyle and home’s aesthetic, transforming it into the central hub where guests and family naturally gather. In this space, we emphasised cohesion, establishing a harmonious connection between each zone. A shared palette of calming Azurite and versatile Sorrel unifies the media wall and bespoke bar area, creating a visual thread that ties the spaces together effortlessly. The inclusion of smoked oak finishes adds warmth and texture, while the polished chrome and matte black handles maintain a modern elegance.
To elevate the overall ambience, bold, chrome, angular accessories and upholstered chairs with metallic-base fabrics inject a touch of drama, transforming the furniture from beautiful to extraordinary. An impressive Cubist ceiling light, finished in polished chrome, casts a soft, inviting glow, enhancing the fusion of luxury and functionality within this thoughtfully designed space.
