Christmas wreaths for stylish homes

14th December 2017

BACK TO INSPIRATION

As we edge closer to Christmas our weekends are filled with tree decorating, the occasional mulled wine and all things festive. For Tom Howley the season truly begins as soon as we unbox the decorations and hang a fresh wreath on the front door.

A beautiful wreath is always a welcome sight when arriving home, they remind us of all things cosy and Christmas acting as a great centrepiece to greet guests around this time of year.

Although traditionally hung on the front door, wreaths are not only limited to the outside. You can make an impact on a hallway with a fresh scented pine and cinnamon wreath, or if you want to keep your decor sleek and understated opt for a popular pinecone or eucalyptus design placed on your kitchen shelves or hung on the mantle.

Whether you desire a real or artificial wreath, there’s a wide variety to choose from especially when it comes to this years trend for all things forest and foraged. To make it a little easier we’ve pulled together a few of our favourite natural designs.

Bramble & Wild – Winter Luxury Decorated Wreath

Give your home a touch of elegance with this stunning fresh winter foliage wreath from Bramble & Wild. The natural design is created and built upon a mossed frame to ensure longevity through the winter months. This welcoming wreath is beautifully handmade, filled with an array of seasonal foliage, twigs, pinecones and orange slices to add texture and style to any front door.

The White Company Rosemary & Pinecone Christmas Wreath

John Lewis Winter Palace Snowy Eucalyptus White Berries Wreath

For festive chic choose the John Lewis eucalyptus wreath. It’s no surprise that designers and brands alike are embracing the eucalyptus trend this season especially with this year’s Pantone colour ‘greenery’ taking center stage. With an increased longing for natural objects and materials in our homes this design feels harmonious and fresh. Simplistic and easy to style with other decor it’s perfect for adding a little festive charm into your home.

Lastly is the Marks & Spencer’s grey berry wreath, perfectly proportioned and filled with an array of blue tones, it has a wonderful realistic quality.
